Nick, always ready for a review of the good things available to us fly fishers. I own a different model Korkers and have had them a couple of years. Holding up well, but then again, I don't stream fish as much as many others.
Thanks, Mel! Not my first pair of Korkers either and didn't really "need" another pair but these seem to solve a couple of problems I have with other wading boots - getting in and out of the kayak and long distance walks to and from fishing spots.
I'm also liking the update to the BOA lace system!
Nick I have a pair of Korkers: I will never wade with any other boot after using them last year. I really like the interchangeable soles. You will be pleased with these boots!!
Had Korkers for years, I will say that the rubber bottoms with cleats are the only sole i wear. Regardless of the bottom they give me the best traction bar none. Even on the slippery mossy crap on our local streams. I have used the same sole for almost 4 years now and is holding up fantastic.

Thanks, Bill!
DeleteThey do look good. Eventually I will need a new pair. My wafing boots are starting to look like Ken's. :(
ReplyDeleteWell hopefully I can get some miles on them before you make a choice!
