Fly tying video: Busy Bee Fly

A member of WindyCityFishing.com started a thread about how to tie the Betts Busy Bee pattern so I took a look at the pattern and decided to make a quick how-to video.

It also gave me an opportunity to play with the video feature on my new Nikon DSLR camera. I had it zoomed in a bit too close and the angle was a bit awkward, but all in all I am loving the quality! Many many more fly tying videos coming soon!!

Hook: size 10 dry fly hook
Body: micro chenille
Legs: rubber silly legs (trim length to suit)
Thread: UTC 140
Optional: Watershed to help it float a bit better/longer

Great fly for bluegill and even the occasional bass!

    1. Thank you sir! I am sure there are some more settings/options on it that I just haven't figured out how to use yet. I need to figure out the auto-focus for recording. I'm sure it does it, just not sure how. The focus was set manually on this video.
