Admittedly, this might not be as profound as the old "If a tree falls in the woods...." thing, I was inspired by a recent post on the local forum WindyCityFishing.com where one angler swears he caught the same fish, in the same place, just days earlier.
That got the wheels spinning and I took it a step further causing me to arrive at my philosophical fork in the road:
If you catch the same fish, on the same day, does it count as 1 catch or 2?
Hmmm.......! Good question. I have never met a fish who wanted to go home with me that bad. Those fish out your way need some lovin' and personal attention!
Never thought about it either, but that's a great question. Personally, I would count each time I hooked up with the same fish, on the same day, as a seperate catch - unless of course, I know that fish went to the exact same spot and I purposely went after it the 2 or 3rd time...I wouldn't count those. (Which I wouldn't do).
It's just one of those questions that everyone is going to have a different answer to.

Depends on how much time there is in between.
