My first radio interview

I had the awesome opportunity to sit down Dale Bowman and talk about fish that some refer to as trash. Dale Bowman writes an outdoors column for the Chicago Sun Times called Stray Casts. In addition to his column, he hosts a radio show here in Illinois called Outside with Dale Bowma that airs on 91.1FM - WKCC

Dale has been nice enough to help spread the word about a new group that I am a part of called the Des Plaines River Anglers Association (DPRAA) and even had the clubs president, Dan Sims, on his show to talk about it. I was very excited when he invited me on to talk about some other things as well.

We talked a great deal about fish that some consider to be trash fish as well as blogging and the DPRAA.

The podcast is available on iTunes if you want to give it a listen!

  2. Thanks, Bill!

Trash fish are blast no matter what! This year is all about the fly though, so I am excited to catch them that way.

    1. Thanks - it really was! I was nervous going into it trying to figure what we could possibly talk about for 28 minutes, but once we started it was a piece of cake.
