" I'm pretty sure Ken doesn't know what he's talking about. I still like 3 "
28 years working in the graphics industry with most of that working for some of the top design firms in Chicago. A degree in fine art. I beg to differ.
I may not be able to do the conceptual work, but I know good work when I see it.
Nick, did you tell everyone to vote up on the top right?
11-14 look good for a Marina in say Florida Keys. They have a Eddie B. feel to them, A little too clean and architectural for my liking. Perfect for a T-shirt design.
Sounds like you know the difference. You can get a logo for the cost of a $25 gift card, or have Andrew charge you a couple hundred for similar look. Smart plan of attack.
12 or 13 ;)

For some reason everyone is picking #6. If it gets the most, don't go with it.
ReplyDeleteIt's awful.
9 was my first choice. 11 would be my second.
9 is my #1 choice, gotta love the wacky rig.
ReplyDelete11 looks like boobs.
I like 9 and 11.
ReplyDelete11 looks like a cheap t-shirt embroidery from a tourist trap gift shop. 9 is cool but the colors should be inverted. Black logo white background.
ReplyDelete13 for sure. Gives the impression of actually fishing. Love it!
ReplyDelete3 or 13
ReplyDelete"11 looks like boobs."
ReplyDeleteYou make that sound like a bad thing.
Not sure about reversing #9, would be worth trying. Making it bigger to fill the black space might be better.
3 is as bad as 6. I'd skip anything within an oval. Try them in rectangles.
I like 9.

ReplyDeleteYou should use this one.

ReplyDeleteThat is freaking funny.
I wont vote since mine is up there. They all have moments.
That would be me! Thanks, I thought it would be appropriate.
Delete1 and 2

ReplyDeletewhere do you have your logos made?
ReplyDeleteI ran a contest and these are all submissions from various people.
DeleteGreat comments so far!!! I can see that I was not crazy for not being able to pick a clear winner.

ReplyDelete28 years in the field and can't find a job. Hmmmm. Can someone say out of touch with todays designs?
ReplyDeleteIt's age. Been told that by 3 headhunters. I should find something else to do.
Delete"Based on your portfolio, there's no reason you shouldn't be working." They still haven't called me.
Don't get old. Same will happen to you. And do me a favor, don't ever comment on anything I say or do unless you're willing to put you're name on it.
9 is cool but it is the same font that Andrew uses on all of his material. You should have just hired Andrew to make the logo if you pick that one.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see 9 without the black background. Unless the black rectangle is part of the logo?...
"11 looks like boobs"?... Someone has quite the imagination here. haha
